The UK’s housing crisis is having a ripple effect on society, impacting people’s lives in variety of ways. In 2017, we saw the opportunity to address the scarcity of high-quality housing stock in the UK’s later living housing market, driven by recognition that there was an underprepared housing market to support our aging population. Consequently, we established Inspired Villages (IVG) and in a joint venture with NatWest Group Pension Fund, we’re not only delivering significant housing, health and wellbeing benefits for those in later life, but also providing long-term, robust returns to pay millions of pensioners for decades to come.
